I'd deffo want to do this one day. They seem to be using Star Alliance - I suppose I could always replicate the itinerary with my own flights.

Does that come with a discount voucher for the liver transplant you'd need afterwards ?

Queenstown ? Is that the same small and sleepy (so I had understood/thought!) place so beloved of a certain SQTalker ? It's actually one of the "world's greatest party towns" ?

It's very small, but hardly sleepy. Thrives on tourism. Lots of daytime activities and awesome nightlife. And yes I do agree that it's rockin.'

        That sounds great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Although I think you could have it a little cheaper through organizing such a tour yourself)

I can't say I'd look forward to a night of dancing with a bunch of inebriated pub crawlers. Actually, I don't think any of my friends would.

As someone rightly pointed out on another forum - that line should be 'It's one trip you WILL forget.' Because if you remember - you've not drunk enough!

I agree with up and away - does sound like it's something you could organise on your own. Simply jot down the list of recommended places to go, and book your own ticket and hotels. Not like I don't plan my holidays based on the quality of nightlife already anyway (apart from places like DXB and MCT but we'll put that down to my mileage addiction). Though not as much fun as causing havoc with 30 other drunk people I'd imagine. Ah fond memories of Contiki tours.....

We'd have to agree to disagree on that one.

Hmmm ... you're right. The view from the inside is often different from the view from the outside.

              Party on.

I think 15 or 20 years ago then this would have been excellent. Now firstly I don't think I would survive it and secondly if I travel I want to be able to remember what I have seen and where I've been.

Fortunately (or not? ) I'm one of those who always remember last night, none the matter what I've done.

Just ask some friends (3-5 should be enough )

While I see this as YMMV or "to each his/her own" issue, I find myself solidly in the same line of thinking as jjpb3 & Lobster.

Lucky you (or maybe not? ). For the times I have a memory blank out, I'd hear stories and see pictures and go... I did WHAT?!

I actually got the PRG idea from elsewhere on this forum, one of jjpb3's posts I think it was. Advice from mates who've been suggest that the nightlife is not only cheap but also crazier than a Girls Gone Wild DVD. So I'm muchly looking forward to it. If it's as good as it sounds, don't expect any pics of daytime activities. [not that there's much to see other than medieval buildings apparently]

Don't worry the HEL booze cruise still sounds good - that'd be next on the cards.

We had over 150 at the party on Saturday.

I just saw a report on tellie about a ferry going from HEL to Estonia which is famed for its cheap "fuel" and wild parties

                        But not like this fella?

OTOH he's now being paid good money for organising parties and promoting clubs... not a bad way to earn some extra pocket money.

Someone did wear big yellow sunnies on Saturday (it was a dress up party) to take the piss though.

Your guests didn't feel like burning cars or fighting the polic?

Though I did see something like that once (although on a smaller scale) and I didn't find it very funny...
