iPad Air and Mini Retina @ SIN

Hi, I would like to know if anyone here has checked out the availability of the above devices at Changi. I'm considering upgrading my slowish iPad2 and it would save me ~S$80 on GST if I can get the Wifi+Cellular 128Gb metallic grey version at the airport. However, in the past, due its popularity, and relative lower pricing, stocks and options at the airport have been rather limited.

Got a flight coming up in a couple of weeks and wondering if I should wait till then.

I'm not sure if this matters to you, but please also note that iStudio at Changi forces buyers to purchase the iPad Air/Mini bundled with a 3rd-party screen protector for an additional S$36.

I've found iStudio's practices to be increasingly sneaky/dubious the way they charge higher than RRP or make it up by covers/screen protectors.

Can't wait for Apple to open up an official shop here so that they can show people how it's meant to be done...

Indeed, Eriond. I do usually get a screen protector for my devices (not sure why except as an insurance against an accidental scratch) so unless they are passing off low-grade stuff, I'll probably get one.
