hanoi private car service to the airport

abt 5-6 yrs ago, i wld fly into Hanoi every 6 mth or so. Have always caught taxi to Somerset at Hai Ba Trung for abt USD10. And svc apt bell hop always gotten a taxi to airport for abt same fare for return. Never a problem. But as i said, my info is 5 yrs old.

I have been in and out of Hanoi close to a hundred times in the past few years. I've always used taxis...never a problem!

Just wondering I have booked a Private Car Service to get me back to the Airport for when I leave Vietnam out of Hanoi.
Have I done the right thing by doing so and what is everyone else personal experience of using such a service there as opposed to getting a Taxi from the street.
any help would be most welcome
