If you are in London over the weekend, a weekend in Paris may be worthwhile too. Very convenient on Eurostar.
I have not been to football matches in the UK, but if you can get tickets, and if you are a fan, I would go!
Also budget some time to go shopping on Oxford Street, and also catch a musical if you can.
There is so much to see in London, you can't really go wrong. I am sure you will have a great time!
