  • China Southern A380 First Cabin

Seems China Southern have raised their game with the whalejet

    First class

Looks like the cabin has sliding doors like SQ and partition that rises for the middle pair at least.

    Business class

Staggered fully flat seating layout, similar ideas to SWISS and ANA.

The J class seats look like something that would not feel out of place at a hospital. So plastic and sterile.

DL uses the same seats for business class on 767-400ER.

Where did all the colour go?

My phone has 16m colours but China Southern are happy with just five.

AFAIK, DL uses the same J seats as LX and AY. These CZ's J seats are similar to the one used by EY, QZ, and soon to be TG on its 380 as well.

Like the seats but I am not sure I like the colors although I have to admit that it is a tad more colorful than the boring blue colors of most US airlines and NH.

Minimalism is all the rage nowadays...

Seems like this style of Business Class seats are getting to be the 'generic' one of this generation. Previous generation's 'generic' style (IMHO) was the JL/TG/MH products.

Don't know what it is with the China Southern F & J A380 cabins. They don't look at all appealing to me.

My eyes still hurt after my last trip on an MH 734, and that was a whole year ago...

The airline itself isn't appealing at all..

Already problem and grounded as need to wait for spare part to fly in.

Makes no difference if the passengers still spit and scream across the cabin.
