      • It's incredible to think it's a year ago since this happened, and even more so to think we still have no idea what happened.....

Am just watching the documentary on this. So many families affected. The pain hasn't gone away. So many questions, no answers. Just hope that the govts will continue funding the search until the plane is found especially now when budgets are contracting.

          • It's incredible that we can still claim that any sort of 'confirmation' that the plane is indeed in the Southern Indian Ocean (ala this thread title) is legit considering not a single piece of plastic, let alone plane, has been found.

                  • The link I've attached in the original post has been updating information as more becomes available.

They seem to have found a suitcase near where the first aircraft part was found.

Indeed, but reading some of the press today you would think they have already solved the mystery of what happened just by this one piece turning up, still yet to be 100% confirmed from MH370.

Now confirmed to be from MH370. I am not sure what that one piece can tell them so lets hope more of it turns up over the next few months. I can't seem them finding most of it, unfortunately that's a very deep and very remote part of the sea.

                        • Allegedly, an aircraft part has been found in the Maldives.

At first glance, it does look like something credible. A honeycomb structure.
