I have just started figuring out what to do wth the $100 vouchers that have been given out to Singaporeans.
For reference, here's a good Straits Times article on the vouchers.
I was looking at the list of merchants, and here are a few that caught my eye:
Attractions
Jewel Changi Airport Canopy Park
Flight Experience Singapore - 737-800 Flight Simulator at the Singapore Flyer
iFly Singapore - Indoor Skydiving on Sentosa
Marina Bay Sands SkyPark - Great views from there.
Universal Studios Singapore - Noticeably smaller than Universal's theme parks in Orlando or Osaka, but still pretty good fun for a day.
Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Safari - Perennial favourites! You can redeem the Vouchers directly from the online ticket purchase process at the Zoo website.
Hotels
The range of hotels which accept the vouchers is pretty extensive as well, with options for every budget. That said, for the top-end hotels on the list, a mere $100 off is not going to make much of a dent in the total cost of a stay.
The hotels on the list that I found interesting/attractive are listed below (Hyperlinks below are to reviews/write-ups on SQTalk):
Andaz
Barracks Hotel Sentosa
Capella (Sentosa)
Capitol Kempinski
Duxton Reserve
Fairmont
Four Seasons
Fullerton Bay
Fullerton Hotel
Grand Hyatt
InterContinental (List doesn't say whether this is the one at Bugis or Robertson Quay, or both)
Lyf Funan - An intriguing option...strictly speaking not really a hotel, but a co-living environment...
Mandarin Oriental
Marina Bay Sands Hotel
Marriot Tang Plaza
ONE15Marina Club (Hotel on Sentosa)
Ritz Carlton Millenia
Shangri La Hotel
Sofitel City Centre
Sofitel Sentosa
St Regis
The Warehouse
W Sentosa Cove
Did I miss any interesting hotels or attractions?
Wonder what everyone else is planning to do with their vouchers?
