Thanks! I just remembered I am only touching down to Narita at 5 pm! not sure if it'll be dark by then in Dec.

A couple of years ago in December my SQ 12 flight landed just after 5, and while it was well past sunset it was still light enough to catch a silhouette of Fuji during landing.

I have to say, the IFE offerings look really dated on the MH aircraft. An update is sorely required.
