Well it's a while since I have been as impressed as this when seeing a lounge for the first time, but it really is fantastic.
It's huge for a start and as it runs along most of the upper balcony area it enjoys superb panoramic views out over the airfield on that side as it is able to take advantage of HKG's fabulous light and airy feel due to the huge windows. When I was in there the first time it was mid afternoon and there was only about half a dozen people in there, which made it even better.
I would rate this as the best lounge in HKG now for actual look and feel of the place, better than The Wing, The Cabin, The Pier and The Bridge especially at that time of the day when The Wing I had just left was packed, as it always seems to be these days. Although I do like The Wings Noodle Bar.
It has to be said when you consider the perennially grim windowless box that is the SKL sits underneath this place it really does bring home who makes the effort with the lounges. I know the SKL is having a refurb but it's still going to be dark and windowless, especially compared to this place.
