Given what happened with FY4978, the European Union has now blocked Belarusian planes from EU airspace.
Some airlines (at this point of writing) are still overflying Belarusian airspace to/from Europe. But SIA has made the call to avoid Belarusian airspace. Currently, SQ324, SQ26 and SQ322 have skirted around Belarus and are flying over Latvia and Lithuania.

I wonder how much additional fuel and flight time this might add to many Asia-Europe flights. With Eastern Ukraine (Donbass) airspace closed and the situation in Belarus, this will certainly have a significant impact on many airlines.
