We could look up the routes on flight radar and match the aircraft with your list?

Getting a full list of the route numbers will be handy.

        • SWY may be our next candidate for 77WR conversion. According to iCargo it doesn't seem to be flying anywhere next so far. I think we're likely down to 2 77WN but it's no longer a super tight issue cause SFO has reused 77WN frames from itself so far and this coming Friday it's transitioning to the 77WR

          • Just arrived back home this morning from Singapore with SVB, those seats are indeed a lot more comfortable than the normal SV-series seats, also it felt as if there was more legroom, is that true? The sound quality was also better, even with the standard SQ earbuds.

I can't speak much about the 772, but I've felt more legroom on the 2013 Y seat as opposed to the 2006 Y on the 77W. If they're improving their product a notch up, that tends to probably be under consideration.

Thanks again. I apologize if I was a little blind on SWU, it actually did do a test flight according to FR24, just not as 8877. And it only did 866/865 on Friday and has not done any other flight after that.

I believe you're talking about the SQ9VSW entry on FR24. It didn't really fly then, just pinging from the ground as it was towed to/from the remote stands at the cargo complex.
Singapore Airlines - A great way to fly...

Yup exactly what I'm talking about, yeah that's true then. Anyway it's off to SYD as we speak (241/242).

                      • I flew on SQ266 BNE-SIN on 22/7

Was very disappointed when I tracked the inbound flight and it wasn't 9V-SVB, with the 2006 Y, but instead 9V-SVC.

However, on boarding - I was pleasantly surprised...

Seems like another 772 has been upgraded.

I can't seem to get photos to upload - any assistance with this would be great..

                          Welcome vish!

That's very good to know. SVC certainly did spend some time out of action which could have been an upgrade, but the only way to know is from somebody flying in the plane and reporting back, as the seat configuration hasn't changed.

Looks like the 772s are getting hand-me-downs since they seem to be staying longer. As far as the 773, I don't hear of any of that except what happened with SYH and SYI, especially since some 773 like SYG have left already.

Great to hear SVC has the 2006 Y products.

Thanks for telling us about that!

Instead of upgrading the B77W from 2006 to 2013 seats, I think SQ should prioritise changing the B777-200ER seats first. Those seats are super old and I'm surprised these seats with terrible IFE are still used to fly long-haul routes.
