      • SQ 634/635 SIN-HND relaunch has been delayed further to March 1 (3x weekly) with daily operation starting March 28.

The previous plan was to launch on Feb 9, also three weekly, increasing to daily by March 1.

            • I’m guessing Scoot will pick up SIA passengers to HKG while SIA flights to HKG will be cargo-only flight for two weeks.

Should be they do the tests at non-certify clinics. HKG gov require the lab or clinic to have ISO certification or something like that.

                • SQ12/11 to Tokyo and Los Angeles resumes 5x weekly with B77W from 16JUN.

Cape Town also restarts on 01JUL with 2 of the 5 weekly JNB flights switched to SIN-JNB-CPT-SIN routing (A359).

Denpasar proposed restart with B738 yesterday has been postponed - now shifted to 01JUL daily B787.

                  • We've got a new GM here in the UK, Rafi. Sheldon has gone back to Singapore. It's not the easiest time for any of them at the moment but he has done a short interview about the UK. Unfortunately it doesn't tell us much we don't know:

Seems they fiddled with the SIN-DPS-SIN schedule for Aug 2021 already as I got flight change info for our Biz bookings on SQ939 and 938. IIRC, for SQ939 we were moved from 7 Aug to 10 Aug and for SQ938 from 14 Aug to 13 Aug.

Well not that we were expecting to be able to go anyways so we used the opportunity for a free cancel and mileage redeposit (as those were KF redemptions) instead. Ok lor.

                      • MAN is back from 16JUL:

                        SQ52 SIN0145 – 0830MAN 359 --3-5-7
                        SQ51 MAN1100 – 0700(+1)SIN 359 1--4-6-

Terminator service with no IAH extension at this stage.

Looks like the aircraft and crew both rest for 26h in MAN, so this schedule needs a whole A350 LH to operate. I’d assume 9V-SJB will therefore be delivered in time for this, given the fleet is already stretched.

                        • SQ adding CTU as cargo only (A359R) 2x weekly
                          SQ8252 —3—6-
                          SQ8253 —-4—7

                            • FCO is back from 16JUL, as an extension to CPH:

                              SQ352 SIN0030 – 0655CPH 359 -2--5-7
                              SQ352 CPH0815 – 1035FCO 359 -2--5-7
                              SQ351 FCO0835 – 1100CPH 359 1-3--6-

                              SQ351 CPH1220 – 0620(+1)SIN 359 1-3--6-

Fifth freedom traffic rights granted on CPH-FCO-CPH - should be good for business.

That's a wrap for SIA's Europe destinations, with the recent addition of MAN on the same date and ARN, DUS, BRU not returning.

                              • Thanks for posting. This is good news indeed for those of us based in Europe.

Might give this a try over the summer
