Did SKM do the air test? Fr24 didn’t record any activity.
What’s been wrong with SKM...5 months doesn’t sound like normal maintenance, especially if it’s not been refitted.

The airtest for 9V-SKM has been delayed by 1 day. It is now scheduled to go for an air-test on 21JUN as SQ8898.

        • SKM is fairly young as its 7 years old and must have gone for a heavy maintenance, as it have been lke 3 months that it have not flown, and it seems much longer than what a heavy maintenance would have took. And do not think it has been retrofitted to the new A380 interior as otherwise SIA would have announced this as it would have been the first to be retrofitted if it had been.

          • I bet SKM have been retrofitted.

It is expected SQ would release the information until everything gone well during the test flight.

Nope. It’s last movement was on 14 jan.
something must have been wrong with it to be grounded for so Long.

                • Alright then, it would then meant that SKM would not have been refitted with the new interior and seatings, as the refitting of SIA's remaining A380s will be done by Airbus.

The refit is done in SIN @ SIAEC not TLS

                    • I think 9V-SKE has been withdrawn from service. Anyone here can verify?

                          • SKM is on her way serving CDG SQ336/335, and I have checked EF on Sq335 F class still configured as 12 Suite, wondering why she was absent for a long time?

And 10 days later still hasn't flown a passenger, they don't have any suitable routes for this aircraft to fly due to the new configuration?

The next raft of flights to be operated by the new A380s (ZRH and PVG) are still over a month away (both commence daily services on August 2nd). Perhaps 9V-SKY will be used before then as a spare.
