      A 77E to rescue an A380 flight?

      • SQ346 depart at around 345am as due to late arrival of aircraft (9V-SKV) from Shanghai.

Think they should be able to transfer some paxes to today SQ335 and to other airlines. Accordingly to Flightradar24, SVC will be stopping at Delhi.

Rather unnecessary that it would have to stop there

Even if they feel they can get SKP back up and now don't need SVC, it should have enough fuel to just u-turn back to SIN. This will be interesting to watch play out.

Seem like FR24 is wrong. SVC is continued flying towards Paris. Have already went pass Delhi.

Well it definitely said DEL when I checked as well. There’s been a few rather unusual airport errors lately on FR24. One day recently an SQ flight to MEL was diverted to MEB, which if correct would have closed two major freeways, inspired terror and panic throughout the city and seen passengers disembark via a number of car dealerships the 777 would have come to a halt within...

                • 9V-SVC (SQ9335) is expected to arrive at Changi at 1600 hrs. Think those sitting in the J seats are those that have book in PE.

                  • SQ 308 to LHR is slightly more than 2 hours late on departure from its scheduled departure at 9am

                    • Due to grounding of SKP, SQ have to switch deployment of few flights.

                      SQ308 (11/aug) operated by ver 3 (SKZ)
                      SQ308 (12/aug) operated by ver 1 (SKI)
                      SQ306 (12/Aug) operated by ver 2 (SKN)
                      SQ406 (11/aug) operated by ver 1 (SKH)
SQ406 (12/aug) will be delay till 1900, waiting for SKW from Sydney.

This will likely be one of the last Long haul flights operated by a 772!

                        • Due to protests at HK airport authority have cancelled all remaining departure flights for 12/aug. (seem like all flights departing after 6pm are affected )
SQ865/871/2 are reflected as cancelled on HK airport website but SQ website never update yet.

Meanwhile at SIN, SQ2 has (obviously) been cancelled too, but SQ868 still looks to be operating as usual.

CX flights all showing delayed though...

SQ2 still reflected as on time on SQ app. Wonder SQ whether can reroute SQ2 via Taipei as refueling stop instead ? At least can minimize the impact of those paxes from sin n those on the returning SQ1

I believe HKG-SFO is crewed separately from SIN-HKG, so a TPE fuel stop could work only if the second crew deadhead or they dredge one up from a SIN-TPE rotation.

Or they could negotiate with AAHK to be allowed to land in HKG for refuelling and crew change (but how are the HKG-SFO crew going to get to the airport?)

Or they could dig up an A359 (ULR?) and operate a special run of SQ33/34 instead.
