    I don't like it

It's like SQ Y seat except that it's lie flat! Width 20" vs SQ Y 19"

If you like window seats, they all face backwards. I like to face forward.

The only forward facing seats are the aisle seats, the least private.

The head-to-toe seat arrangement means you get to stare at your neighbour when the privacy screen comes down

This happens at landing & take off. And during meal service for some crew

    Very little storage space too
Thanks for sharing your impressions, 9V-SIA!

It seems that once a person gets used to SQ J, then flying in BA J seems to pale in comparison...I personally found the BA J seating concept fine, especially on the 787, (but then I spend more time in Y than anywhere else, so any kind of J is better than that) but thought the food in J was slightly underwhelming.

We have a lot to be grateful for this BA seat as it was the first fully lie flat J seat.

Someone in BA realized that pax are shaped more like isosceles triangles than rectangles

So more pax could be packed in with this arrangement

But BA never evolved from this layout.

Newer versions of seats for "triangular" paxs are the staggered J & herring bone configurations

I don't find fat boys any good. Thanks for sharing about Byron Burgers. Would you have any idea how it compares to Minetta Tavern? It's the best burger I've tried thus far.

Hi feizhu, I've not tried Minetta Tavern...had not heard of it until your post...I googled it and it sure looks interesting! Will try to check it out if I find myself in NY.

That Black Label burger looks good. It's now on my bucket list.
