Excuse my ignornace but I'm just looking to book from SIN to christchurch and noted it's operated by a 772. Surely it's a bit far for a Regional SQ J seat, and then someone mentioned they have put the space beds from the 744 Raffles on some of the the 777. Is this true? Which routes would have them?

Christchurch is served with the B777-200ER type, which are equipped with SpaceBeds.

AFAIK, the 772 on both SIN-AKL and SIN-CHC has SpaceBeds. The same as for SIN-MAN, SIN-CPH, SIN-AMS, SIN-ATH, and SIN-FCO.

Sorry if I forgot other destinations.

Yes they do. Just watch out for customs at CHC. They don't get many longhaul flights (just SQ, a few NZ a week and EK) and so seem to pay far more attention than at AKL for example.
