I have been told that some A320s are coming from Tigerair Australia. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this please?

There could be some truth, the A320's were originally leased by the Tiger group for TT in Australia, now TT is transitioning to an all 737 fleet (same as parent VA) so the A320's will be returned back to leasers, whether that be TR or someone else, it us unknown.

Seems like they got some of the names wrong, but they have also new names.

The names are so bad they are good.

I think you have to be local to appreciate some of them.

If names like that are part of the LCC game plan that somehow results in lower ticket prices for pax, I'm willing to overlook the cringe factor...
