SIA adds free hotel stay to Suite and First Class bookings

From now until March 15, 2011, Singapore Airlines' (SIA) Suites and First Class passengers are entitled to a free night at four of the city's best known upscale hotels.

The offer applies to customers flying from Hongkong or other SIA destinations, excluding Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi and Manila. Bookings must be made three days before departure and are subject to availability.

Those in Suites seats on the Airbus A380 get to stay in a suite at The Raffles Hotel, while First Class passengers can choose between stays in Deluxe rooms at The Fairmont Hotel or The Ritz-Carlton Millenia. And from February 15 to 28, 2011, they will have the additional option of a Deluxe room at the Shangri-La.

All offers include airport to hotel transfers, complimentary Wi-Fi internet access and breakfast.

The free night must be redeemed on the day of arrival and cannot be deferred to a later date. No-show guests will be charged an extension fee.

Perhaps a reaction to the extremely high premium class prices. Not like I'll be able to afford it anytime soon anyway

Suite for a suite? But all rooms at the Raffles in Singapore are suites anyway... so most likely SQ might just give you the smallest suite available. Why don't they include limousine transfer for their Suite class passengers , at least in Singapore?

If EK can do it for their 'ordinary' First / Business Class passengers, why not SQ?
