Default TR24 returned to airport

It would appear that TR24 was diverted today back to SIN. Operating a/c was 9V-OFD. This aircraft has had many many delays in the last few days. Engine problems?

Does anyone know if Singapore's 78Xs' Trent 1000 3 would be affected?

Sseems like Scoot's previous 3 long delays at Athens, Taipei and Bangkok are all with tech issues wth their 787s - but none are related to the RR engines, including the MEL turn back yesterday. Not sure why Scoot's 787s are having quite a higher than usual tech issues.
On the RR engines issue, these are known and are scheduled for maintenance.
