Feels like it's been a while since we had a significant delay on this flight. Initially to be operated by 9V-SKW (ex-SQ833), they ended up waiting for 9V-SKY to return ZRH to operate SQ346|12MAY.

Seem like SKN was not available to do SQ308, thus SKJ was pulled to do SQ308, this resulting SQ406/SQ424 being affected

SQ516|13MAY (SIN-CCU) operated by 9V-SSE diverted to Dhaka due to bad weather at Kolkata.

I was on SQ406 and luckily they gave us plenty of heads up as to not having to waste too much time at the airport.

              • SQ308|20MAY (SIN-LHR) was delayed almost 1.5 hours. Originally to be operated by 9V-SKR, it was swapped to 9V-SKW.

As a result, SQ221|20MAY (SIN-SYD) is being operated by 9V-SKR.

                  • SQ807 PEK-SIN | 20MAY19 | 9V-SKI took off 3h44 late at 20:19 (STD: 16:35)

This flight was also significantly delayed on 17MAY19 (operated by 9V-SKG). It took off at 21:06 and arriving in SIN at 02:37. The weather might be a factor for both delays.

and that 9V-SKH is currently rostered for SQ346|21MAY (SIN-ZRH). 9V-SKI operated this flight two nights ago (19MAY19).

9V-SKZ is operating SQ424|20MAY (SIN-BOM) and 9V-SKY hasn't flown since arriving from London as SQ317|17MAY.

Seems like they could really use 9V-SKT's help anytime now.

9V-SKY is back on service and SQ406 is using 9V-SKZ today. 9V-SKK is on SQ833/830. Really messy deployment these few days

Departed Wellington to Melbourne 0830 NZST Wednesday 22/5 morning.
The aircraft went to depart the previous day 21/5, go to the end of the runway then returned to the gate.

Crew must have not been happy with a reading they were getting.

I have not been told exactly what the issue was as yet.

SKY was rostered to fly me to HKG on 18/5 but we were informed at the gate that there was an engine problem which resulted in an aircraft change to SKW. Seems like it was a major issue after all
