        OK, here we go

Well, yes, a birthday is a kind of special day. If we could all meet or go out, I'd certainly buy everyone a drink. But that's not really possible under the current circumstances, is it? Nevertheless, this won't stop me from saying 'thanks' to each and everyone's wishes, in my own way.

One picture dedicated to each SQTalker wishing me happy birthday.

The first one, for KeithMEL, with many many thanks for his wishes!

                  Efcharisto, jhm!

As you may appreciate, a marine-related shot will be dedicated to you...

From a claims job I did back in '03. M/V Alva Star, already towed to the container terminal of port of Piraeus. Purpose was to discharge her cargo (about 800 boxes) while we checked for any damages in any of them (I had a total 5 hrs of sleep during that long weekend...) Vessel struck a rocky area of the island of Zakynthos, in the Ionian Sea, apparently due to duty officer falling asleep.
