Anyway, there are some Emergency row seats available which you should be able to pick as PPS.

This seat map is from my SQ booking. They are up gauging the A350 to A380 for the 955am SIN-HKG flight.

Last week SIN - PEK ditto.

Asked why the upgrade? - The reply many thanks for being a loyal customer.

Both times plane was not full in C

That’s very nice but also very unusual for SQ. Hope you enjoyed your flights!

Are you willing to share some more details?

What was the booking class of each ticket?
What's your PPS value this year?
How much in the last 5 years?
Was the upgrade around your birthday?

A friend of mine received an upgrade from Australia. This was due to overbooking but he was not a PPS. Ticket was in Z class.

            Both in U
So far SGD 19.XXX year runs to October
I think about SGD 180.000 over the past 5 years
            Not anywhere near my birthday

            Upgrades are always welcome!

Are you still a Solitaire member? that would mean that SQ still upgrades them first, even from the lowest (least expensive) booking classes.

Any idea if there are multiple TPP on the flight what’s the next level of criteria they would consider for upgrades (e.g. number of TPP years, lifetime TPP, etc.)?

Just for reference, I got a J->F upgrade on SQ237 (77W SIN-MEL) earlier this year; I think J was full. I am just plain PPS of 1 years standing.
