    At the gate

    What a looooong plane

Loooong but empty. Counted less than 30 passengers!!

    Takeoff into the dawn

Breakfast. Yes, Lionair serves free food and drinks! Though it is nothing to shout about.

    Huge winglet

    The infamous Invocation Card

Lets all pray that we will reach our destination safely....

....and do not need to refer to the Safety Card

    Overflying active volcanoes

    Descending

    Approaching Bali

    Over Bali

    Landing

Parked at the gate at DPS with SQ941 in view

After landing did I realise that my ears did not "pop" at all during the descend! Neither did my friend's. It has never happened to me before. Wierd..

Lunch (chicken with potatoes). Not very nice, and there is no appetizer even though the flight time is slightly longer than SIN-BKK where the meals served includes appetizers.

Sweet and sour fish with rice. Nothing spectacular too.

Singapore sling. The chief steward made it so strong that I have to request additional pineapple juice to dilute it.

        Cabin view. Another empty flight.

The blue Dreamliner livery looks gorgeous. I guess they're entitled to it being the first to fly the 739

And an invocation booklet, I had no idea they had one! But that one's cool too cuz it's got invocations for Indonesia's five official religions.

Was nearly booked to fly JT to go to YOG one time, unfortunately the trip got canceled.

The livery is stunning but interior is not very well-maintained. Well, it is a budget airline anyway....

Note that Lion Air don't serve food on the vast majority of its flights. IE none of their domestic routes and not all of their international. CGK-SIN is very, very limited BOB, for example.
