Tiger Airways warns of 'markedly larger net loss' in Sep-2011 quarter

Tiger Airways has warned that it is expecting to record a "markedly larger net loss" for the three months ending 30-Sep-2011 compared to the SGD20.6 million (USD15.7 million) loss recorded in the previous quarter, according to a Straits Times, report. The losses will be mainly attributed to the suspension of its Australian services by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority in the first six weeks of the quarter, which led to under utilisation of its fleet.
