  • SIA Cabin Crew

I know that there are different ranks of cabin crew in SIA:

    ISS/IS = Inflight Supervisor
    CSS/CS = Chief Steward/Stewardess
    LSS/LS = Leading Steward/Stewardess
    FS/FSS = Flight Steward/Stewardess

What are the different roles of each rank? What does each of them do during the flight? Where do they sit on each aircraft?

Slight correction it’s been a couple of years now but the official title is Inflight Manager and no longer Inflight Supervisor.

Based on my observations on mostly B777-300ER flights:

      FSS/FS = self-explanatory. Cabin service and galley
LSS/LS = More serve on galley but you still see them around in cabin during meal service
CSS/CS = service on premium cabins
ISS/IS = overseeing service and rarely service. If you are in Y, you usually only see them during safety checks before take off and landing.

These are just my observations as a customer, and hope more experts can share the duty breakdowns in more details.
