The TR forum is about literary creativity, in addition to the v useful source of info that it is. So I'm for as little regulation and complexity as possible. The suggestions to separate TRs based on COS, or adopting a COS/airline-based policy for TR titles are, IMO, unnecessary and can be overly inflexible in view of the myriad of TRs we have on SQTalk.

All opinions shared are my own, and are not necessarily those of my employer or any other organisation of which I'm affiliated to.

Crumbs blown in from the front cabins, sometimes. But occasionally, a full cake served with a glass of bubbly*.

          *So I've been told.

As a trip report writer (on FT) I agree leave it up to the author.

Besides sometimes things change during the trip (eg the trip report I mentioned Y+ in the title ended up having no Y+). I don't want to wait until after the trip is completely finished before writing about it - nothing would get written.
            ..

I like this idea and think it's a good compromise. The frustration has been that you see a carrier you were interested in, only to find out that the COS is not where you sit. This can apply to both people who want to see whY and people who are looking at the premium cabins.

Hmmm...I don't see you flying in the back very often...

I would like to add my personal opinion.

I like sqdazz's suggestion. It seems to me a very efficient solution.

Eventually, we could also set up a sort of prefix for TR. In example:
              • [F]
              • [C]
              • [Y+]
              • [Y]
              • [Charter]
              • [Mixed Classes]
              • [Miscellaneous]

              Just an idea...
This sounds good as it leaves the author with an option.

'Brioche' wouldn't really have allowed me to bring in the 'Cakes Onboard SQ' thread.

Isn't there a vb addon that forces the threadstarter to select header fields from a customised list?

I think it's not an addon.... it's a feature included in the main VB code.
But for what I can see, we're not discussing about how to do it, but if we want to do it.
There's only One way to fly.... SINGAPORE AIRLINES!
If SQ is too expensive, the other way to fly is Qatar Airways
