A little of off topic.

Air India 347 to chennai was diverted back to Singapore about 1 hour into the flight. Ai343 to Mumbai operated by the same aircraft has been cancelled.

Anyone has any idea why? This is particularly disturbing as I'm flying Ai soon

SQ802 SIN-PEK | 28AUG18 took off from Singapore almost 3 hours late and ended up using SKV. The return flight SQ807 departed over 2 hours late. An A380 must have gone tech. SQ830/831 was operated by SKI.

SQ 305 just departed LHR almost 2 hours late at 11.12am London time, and SQ317 is about to take off on scheduled at 1130am. Both planes will be just half an hour from each other.

The flights above along with SQ8|30AUG (SIN-ICN-LAX) were retimed to 0245 as they were waiting for connecting passengers from SQ949|29AUG (DPS-SIN) which arrived late into Changi.

SWF is on its way back to SIN via DXB and BKK as SQ9351

I wonder what's happened with 9V-SWF now. It's been out for almost 2 weeks after landing back as SQ9351 on 8/22. Guessing it seems to be a mechanical problem that warrants it to be out for sometime. That is one 77WR down.

I think SQ is putting on an extra flight from NGO for those who are stranded in Osaka and wish to make their way to NGO for a flight back.

Confirmed:

Singapore Airlines will be mounting an additional flight SQ9622, which will depart Singapore for Nagoya, on 5 September at 0100hrs. The return flight, SQ9623, will depart Nagoya at 1500hrs for Singapore. I hope the situation will be improved soon. It seems KIX could become what we experienced in BKK back in 2008.

Osaka Kansai will be closed the next few days and even some reports suggest even up to a week.
