my dollar's still on SRM being the last 77R to go. survival of the fittest SRx aircraft - the last one flying. also, by my count back...should have less cycles on it than SQM/N given the amount of time its spent on the ground during its life time.

if im wrong, then it's a no brainer SQN should be the other possibility based on age.

Singapore Airlines in recent schedule update adjusted Boeing 777-200ER service during summer 2020 season. Based on latest listing as of 16DEC19, the airline is only displaying 2 weekly Singapore – Kuala Lumpur route from 29MAR20 to 31MAY20, operating on weekends, as SQ104/105. Reservation for this 777-200ER service is not available and further changes remain highly possible.

Surinam Airways has taken 9V-SVL as PZ-TCU to cover their inertantional flight for next 18 month following the withdrawal of A340 from operation.

Apparently the A340 operation was so bad that when it last broke down on 27/10/2019 the return flight from Amsterdam to Suriname had to be cancelled and the management have had enough, and decided to retire the four holers for good on the spot.

The A340 PZ-TCR was sent to scrapper on 19/12/2019.

9V-SVL was also previously hired by Air New Zealand as ZK-OKI to cover for their recent B787 grounding. The airframe is owned by Boeing Capital.

Hasn’t weekday SQ service been at 3 daily for the longest time? It wasn’t until the Max 8 fiasco that SQ increased its service to KUL.

Wonder what’s up with SQ890/891... they’ve been selling tickets based on a 773 config but operating the flight with a 77W for most of the past two weeks.

Since 773s have 224 Y vs the 77W with 184, they’ve been “upgrading” pax to PEY and J almost daily.

Totally anticipated the same would happen on X’mas eve, so I booked Y on SQ891 and indeed got upgraded to business. The whole Y and PEY cabins were filled full.

I thought it’s because SYF and SYJ are both down, but surely it would have been better swapping the 773/77W for SQ952/955 instead of the longer flight to HK.

Boeing 777 is to join the LOT fleet

LOT Polish Airlines is to acquire three Boeings 777-200, previously operated by Singapore Airlines, in the coming months. The carrier does not want to comment on this information yet. As Pasazer.com unofficially found out, the Polish carrier is currently training the crew with a view to putting into service the Boeing 777. The wide-body machines would be taken over after Singapore Airlines, which has recently been withdrawing massively in connection with the supply of the latest A350-900 airbuses and Boeing 787 10.

It is not yet known what version of "triple seven" is about. Potentially, they can be traditional (777-200) as well as those with increased range (777-200ER). A carrier from Singapore uses both variants in different interior configurations (configuration of two travel classes with 26 seats in business class and 245 in economy class or with 38 seats in business class and 228 in economy class). LOT, however, will most likely change the layout of the cabin adapting it to the product available on Boeing 787-8 and -9.
