It's now off to PVG tomorrow morning. However, EF still reports it in the old configuration.

        • Sorry for going off topic, but has SWH already been refitted? As per data from FlightRadar it has been flying the 77WR routes such as SQ 12/7 etc.

It has... which means both SWG and SWI have undergone a 6 or so week maintenance regime only to have their old cabins put back.

            • Thats sad to know as I will be flying to NRT at the end of the year, was hoping that they could refit those 2006 to the 2013 products by the end of the year but it seems unlikely now

              • And SWI did not fly to PVG as SQ828 today morning , a little weird to see this many changes in its departure flight.

                • Could it be that there may be plans for 77w to be refitted with 2017 product in the near future?

                  • Looking at this 787 production list SQ is taking delivery of the test 787-10. This isn't usual for SQ? - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...go/edit#gid=19

The next scheduled flight at the moment for 9V-SWI is SQ211 to SYD on 30MAY17. Of course, highly subject to changes.
Singapore Airlines - A great way to fly...

SQ is the launch customer for the 787-10 and will be taking delivery of the test aircraft.

                          No S inventory on today's 866/865 rotation..................

Could they have retrofitted it without the PEY but with 2013 F/J on board? They only have 19 77W planned for PEY.

Oh. How did you know its only 19 77W?

                              • SNA is still on the ground, so it will be interesting to see if it emerges with a PEY cabin.

SVC flew to BOM, PER and then CPH, where it was delayed on its return to SIN by 3 hours (not caused by delays at CPH) and now hasn't flown again since. There was never a test flight on its return to service, so I'm not sure what that says about its cabin status. Perhaps if only Y seats are swapped over, it doesn't need a test flight?

It's a shame to see SWI left with its old interior after such a long period of maintenance. No other 77Ws appear to have been taken out of service for refitting.
