I read about this as well, so it still points a sign regional 350's could still be there.

New regional J for 787-10 already confirmed and outed (https://www.ausbt.com.au/here-is-sin...ess-class-seat), with a sub-fleet of the A359s to have regional J to follow. In the case of SIN-AU flights for example we'll eventually see the A380 and 777W as flagships and then A350s replace A330s and Boeing 787-10s replace any Boeing 777-200 stragglers.

            • 9V-SMS (SQ#19) is now fully painted and is currently on her flight back to Toulouse from XFW. It is also her third Test Flight.

Looks amazing! Thanks for the updates as always SQKevin. As you predicted it is likely an end of the month delivery with SMT to follow the next month.

                  • 9V-SMT rolled out onto the Flight Line today fully painted and cabin fitted. She should be on target for an end-December delivery. 9V-SMS, on the other hand, has not seen any flight activity since returning from XFW last Monday. If no further flight testing occurs soon, she will slip into an early December delivery.

                    • So likely 9V-SMT will be flying home in December.

Hoping it would be 9V-SMU with regional seat

Any updates on the new regional seat configuration?

                          • 9V-SMS completed her CAF yesterday. Delivery should take place this week as scheduled.

9V-SMU has emerged from the FAL for Outdoor testing. She is rumoured by some SQTalkers to be a Regional A359. Not sure if the experts here can tell by just looking at the window layout. The cabin has only been partially installed at this stage of production.

                            • SMS and SMT are clearly the two additional A350s for BNE, which raises the question of SMU. Either the fleet has grown to a sufficient size that they now want a bit more slack for maintenance and equipment failure, or SMU represents a new destination or additional flights to existing ones.

The additional weekly to DUS from March could easily happen now given a Tuesday/Wednesday flight pair occurs at the point in the week when there is the most fleet availability, but then it does also remove existing maintenance opportunities too.

4x weekly IST could probably work with an extra A350 or alternately daily CHC. Either they get the old 772s off those destinations or they should ensure only the ones with ex-2006 77W products fly those 10 hour routes.

                              • Would SQ have used a seperate set of rego numbers to differentiate the regional and long-haul birds?
