Scoot to Jaipur in 2016?

TZ's CEO was at Resurgent Rajasthan event last week, met Mdm Chief Minister, and then she announced it during the opening address. I heard it myself.

"Scoot will open Jaipur in 2016"

Risky? Sure fail? Currently Jaipur only has international connections to Dubai and Muscat, both on narrow bodies.

Maybe it would be an attractive route for tourists doing a Golden Triangle...Delhi, Agra, Jaipur. Leap of faith to do it on a large plane like a 787, though.

Scoot should take over SQ's seasonal flights to CTS and ATH... both are leisure destinations that could work year-round with a lower cost base.
