I'm not staying in Brissie unfortunately. I am in Sydney the day/night before (hence the QF Dom Pub visit) and am only coming up to BNE to use up the return part of a PVG-BNE ticket I bought in December but have only used the outbound section. I am going to Shanghai for a couple of meetings so using that ticket is the best option.

I was due to come up very early for a meeting with a customer who is based very close to BNE but that's off now.

Just curious, at what time will you be arriving? Don't suppose there's enough time in between terminals for a cuppa...

I am on QF520 from SYD, due in at 12:35, then I am on SQ236 to Changi departing at 14:30. That obviously doesn't give me time to go anywhere but if by some chance you are at the airport I'd be happy to meet for a drink as I have no desire to spend any longer than necessary airside at BNE. The SKL is crap, I usually spend most of my time in the NZ lounge when on SQ236.

I'll be hand luggage only so will jump on the train from Domestic to International to get my printed BP stamped.

By then, I believe TK will be using Terminal 2 (wef 28 August), so I think your only choice with *G will be the UA lounge.

HAM has a nice LH lounge with an outdoor terrace.

Was on said terrace yesterday, dropping lucky as the weather was nice. Shame the lounge wifi doesn't work out there but definitely one of the more pleasant lounges I get to visit due to the terrace.
