  • SIN Auld Lang Syne Do? -- 30 December

Seems like a famous LPP and I will be in Singapore on 30 December, and we wanted to know whether any SQTalkers would like to join us in bidding a fond farewell to 2007. We're thinking of pre-dinner drinks, an early dinner (I have a late night LH flight to catch), and of course, interesting chit-chat.

Anyone might be around for this?

Updated list of attendees (as of 17 Dec):

    AFTERNOON DRINKS?

    Ceri
    CGK
    demue
    jhm
    MAN Flyer

    DRINKS + DINNER:

    Drinks: Marina Mandarin, 17.00
Dinner: Aburiya, 60 Robertson Quay, 19.00

    CGK
    jhm
    jjpb3
    sailaway75
    SQFAN
    SuperJonJon
    upright man
(just for dinner: we'll get him intoxicated nonetheless)
9V-JKL (probably just for after dinner)

    Probable for dinner:

demue -- if girlfriend give him permission

IIRC, our loss is Sydney's gain.

          Seconded...
But unfortunately I am not able to visit Sydney soon...

Yes, dear, we are. Your 84-something seat isn't going to be so private with me checking up on you.

Hey, count me in for this DO.
(I've noted this date since you PM'd me a few months ago).

Hmm looks like an empty flight so far ... Just hope that LH has medium size jammies that evening. Otherwise we will swim along in the X-L or we have to fight to get the smallest PJs..

Oh don't worry, you'd been included in the attendees list before this announcement, which might have been sneaky of us. I'm glad we now have confirmation (so we don't feel we're presuming ).

IIRC, weren't you also in an 80-something seat?

He is across the aisle same row... Thus he can check on me when I make out with my seatmate.

Looks like I am going to miss this one. Have fun guys.
I will be on CX en route to NRT but in a much less glamourous seat than 80+ on LH.

I'll be on QF en route from MEL to SYD, in a much less glamorous seat too.
