  • EK after our girls again....

and boys as well I suppose

Emirates is sending teams of recruitment specialists across major cities all across the world as the airline continues to recruit new cabin crew for its rapidly growing fleet of aircraft.

Emirates expects to double its fleet by 2012, and the airline aims to recruit cabin crew staff numbers in line with its fleet expansion. In Singapore, Emirates will hold an Open Day on Saturday, November 4. Interested participants should report to the Holiday Inn Atrium from 9.30am to 4pm, with an updated resume, as well as their full-length passport size photographs in business attire. Screenings and final interviews for shortlisted candidates will take place between November 17 to 21.

Successful candidates will join one of the world's fastest-growing full-service airlines as part of its multi-national cabin crew working on a modern fleet of Airbus and Boeing passenger jets.

Stephen Chu, Emirates' Area Manager for Singapore and Brunei said, “Emirates is well-known in the industry for its award-winning in-flight service and we are looking for cabin crew who can continue to uphold that reputation. Ideally, candidates should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confidence, a focus on service excellence and a positive attitude.”

Emirates offers competitive, tax-free salaries, attractive travel benefits, and excellent professional development opportunities. These include access to modern training facilities and e-learning programmes for those seeking a long-term future in the company. Living in Dubai also offers many lifestyle benefits to cabin crew.

The chance to live overseas seems to be a huge draw card for many young people who aspire to join an airline. I remember talking to a few Australian crew members on EK and that's the general feel I got when I asked why EK instead of QF or DJ.
