      Have another query sorry

For the following aircraft which seats do you recommend for a family of 3?
Me, wife and 7 year daughter, actually will be almost 8 by the time we fly!

Old and New J on A380
Old and new J on 77W

Also is the new A380 main deck better or upper deck for J?

      Thanks,
      K.

SWI will likely be the next to go next month since NRT (638/637) is switching over from the 77W to the 78J. So far NRT rotates with SWI and SWT. We'll just be left with PEK and HND.

I am keen to know as well. If anyone has facts or sources of info (Rather than guesses or wild speculation) I am keen to hear about it. Or maybe someone should just post on the SQ Facebook page and see what authoritative answer they come up with.

What I want to know is whether there is a plan to retrofit these, or if SQ plan to keep them as they are. Just because a route is changed to new aircraft type doesn’t mean the plane previously operating it will be retrofitted (Considering how long blue Y cabins persisted...).

On the other hand I was pleasantly surprised to see how quickly SQ retrofitted so many 77Ws to the new 2013 products.

Yes NRT is switching to 78J. Is there a source or reference available that says SQ plans to refit SWI, or any of the other 2 77Ws?

SQ originally intended to refit all original 19 77Ws with the new products, so it's just a matter of time before they refit the last 3 as well.

Thanks for the link, FSJZ! Good to know that the plan, as announced at the time, was to refit all of them. Interesting that they have progressed so far on this refit to the 77WR config, with almost the whole fleet of 777-300ERs refitted, while at the same time, most of the A380's still have the 2006 Y and J cabin products.

Mmhmm, SQ is also intending to refit the remaining 14 A380s with similar products to the new A380s, once all 5 have been delivered.
