It would be good if Changi airport as an international and well known airport start random alcohol tests for all airlines flight crews.

As this was a London to Japan flight, it should have a two sets of tech crew too and this drunk pilot could possibly be a "cruise" tech crew. And JL must have been fast to get a standby tech crew member to replace the suspect drunk co-pilot.
