I saw UA is starting SFO-DEL nonstop service. That would definitely be better than AI that currently offers it; my mom had bad service on AI, and no working IFE but enjoyed the food nonetheless.

The timing is fine if you want to connect to a local flight and return earlier (which is identical to one AI flight).

Don’t expect UA to be any better when it comes to service....
God must have been a ship owner, he placed the raw materials far from where they are needed and covered two-thirds of the earth with water...

UA was fine when I flew it domestically. It might be different internationally. Whatever the case, will still be flying SQ, CX, or EK on all my India travels for the most part.
