Singapore Airlines (SIA) said Thursday it will raise its fuel surcharge from next week due to rising jet oil prices, less than two months after the last increase.

I think we should roll out the diesel turbine engines for the airplanes or the ethanol ones. Maybe start using Hydrogen fuel cells. -

Yeah I read about it too... But it seems like a US$2 rise one way. Surcharges are just a way for airlines to hide their fares. ANA has cheap transpacific airfares, but their taxes go up into the 700s (SGD)Comment
