  • Who are you rooting for this weekend?

Busy sporting weekend coming up. What are you watching, and who are you rooting for?

    My picks...

F1, Shanghai: Lewis Hamilton to win world championship.

Rugby World Cup: France over New Zealand.

US baseball playoffs: Boston Red Sox over LA Angels.

    Nice weekend to all.

I think Lewis Hamilton will not win in Shanghai but will win the Championship in Brazil.

I bloody hope he wins... for certain reasons I dislike his teammate.

Rugby : Wallabies destroying England (revenge is near haha) and the All Blacks over France (the haka just gives me the chills).

F1: Hamilton winning the World Cup.

              Baseball: unfortunately not interested

Hockey: Sabres over the Islanders, Rangers over Sens

Premier League: Gunners over Sunderland to keep the top spot. Wigan over ManU (won't be happening though), Liverpool over Tottenham (they need to win after the CL loss), Bolton over Chelsea (and hopefully and finally a new coach for Chelsea)
Home is where your heart is.

If my home town do manage to stuff the Forces of Darkness at the Theatre of Screams today I will be stunned. They haven't even managed to take a single point from any of the 'Big Four' since they got in the Premier League, which is now getting silly. Today would be a great time to start though!.

Most of my mates are going having not asked me did I fancy it ( 'we presumed you'd be somewhere in Asia...') so I'll watch it in the pub and then England v The Convicts (ducks....) straight after.

Lewis has got pole position for tomorrow so hope he wraps it up then. With a bit of luck the rest of Alonso's toys will finally leave the pram and he'll stomp off to that two faced red lot. They deserve each other...

Baseball - haven't a clue. Isn't this the game that has a 'World Series' that can be won by teams in the grand total of one country ?. Having said that I did go to watch the Montreal Expos against a New York team at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal years ago and quite enjoyed it.

Shows how sport-ignorant I am, my mother rang me to ask if I was watching the rugby,...I neither knew that rugby was being played, nor that it was England who was playing!

                    Blisfully unaware
