          May be a Scoot route?

Presumably 7 weekly flights for carriers from each country, though the link said this was based on a 190 seater plane and there would be fewer frequencies allowed if operated with a widebody. Could possibly see a MI 737 MAX operating the route.

For Busan, even Air Asia X been flying there for almost a year using the A333.
These 12 "new" routes seems to be for SIA group ie including Sccot and Silkair as they are now 100% owned by SIA - and wonder if routes given by Silkwair to SIA or vv is included in this 12 destinations.

Perhaps Berlin when the new airport opens (or at least a codeshare with LH)?

How I wish Madrid was on the list! MAD-SIN has been featured as highly demanded unserved route a while ago and I recall an interview to a senior Changi Airport Group official citing Europe connections as a weakness in Changi mentioning Madrid so keeping my hopes up!

Why cannibalize Berlin when Scoot already flies there?

Vienna!!! I am always baffled that Bangkok has countless direct flights to Vienna yet Singapore has none.

Vancouver and Chicago! But this means more A350 LH or ULR planes required!

                              Chicago would be great!

Until we see notification that 9V-SJB is coming through the A350 production line, don't expect any new long haul destinations. I'd be highly doubtful that the 77W would be shifted onto any existing A350 long haul routes either.

I expect the A350 regionals and the 787s due to arrive will replace all remaining A330s and 772s and perhaps provide some capacity growth on short or medium haul routes. We could also finally see some kind of announcement about what they might do with the 773s and whether a replacement regional F is planned. Just my thoughts though.
