Thought some more experienced people with spouses could advise me here:
1. If you have a travelling partner who doesn't have status, is merging the two bookings required so that they can check in, join priority queues and board early with you? (We currently have separate bookings but all flights are identical on both bookings.)
2. Assuming the above is correct, or even if I just want to have us paired for seating, is the best way to have this looked after to call the special KFEG number, or would I be better off just calling the standard Australian line?
Any tips appreciated. I'm normally always flying solo, so assume I know nothing about this!
