Is Starwood shaking up their alliances?

I note they have severed the relationship with Australia's largest airline.

Alternatively, perhaps another SQ price increase.

Perhaps, but I think it's Starwood driving this move.

Oh bl**dy hell. Bang out of order only announcing it on the same day as it stops.

I have been doing very nicely in the last last year or so laundering 20,000 SPG points over for 25,000 KF miles every time I hit 20K. I would have sent over the 16K I'm sat on for 1:1 if I'd known.

Will have to cut back on sending every single *A mile earned to BD. Oh well.

If only SPG replaces QF with BD...now THAT would be awesome.

So, are the best left *A transfers NH and TG?

Not sure, but I don't use either of those FFP's. BD would be welcome, but I think I'm going to have to stick mine to BA for now as 20,000 still gets you 25,000 miles.

One advantage to TG is that they will hold the reservation for you for 30 days until the transfer from SPG takes place.
