Singapore Airlines fleet strategy: 737 transfers from SilkAir to Scoot

    Going back to the earlier point that Scoot will operated B737NGs, if Scoot was to eventually operated the 737NGs from MI then why aren't they leasing B737s instead of A320?

    After all, they already have the pilots trained for the B737s which were due to be transferred in Jun'19 before the B737 MAX grounding.

    Seems like they are buy themselves sometime to decide on this.

      I presume if the decision is made to drop money on lie-flat J on the NGs, then it's highly unlikely they go to Scoot.

      SQ may be leaning in that direction.

        Any news on the when scoot is getting their leased A320s? They were supposed to start a bunch of chinese sectors which were taken over from Silkair this week.

          Don’t think the leased A320 will come anytime
          Scoot should have the capacity as it also cancel some route. N I think scoot might have alsobreduce some frequency on other routes (Routesonline does not pick up lots of such frequency reduction as well and scoot seldom announce also when they reduce frequency.
