  • question on SQ 77W F: 1 A/F vs 2 A/F

    hi
can anyone help with differences between 1A/F and 2A/F on SQ 77W F? thanks in advance

  • #2
From what I know, 1 A/F has more leg room and space in front. But when converted to a flatbed, it has a protrusion at the head position. 2 A/F have no protrusion when converted to a bed for sleeping but less leg room in front.

1A/F is also closer to the restroom. Usually, I prefer 2A/F.

I think some sqtalkers have posted photos of the 77W F seats in this forum. You can search for it in this forum.

Someone here adviced me to take 2A. I was solo in F when I flew and actually tried out the other seats lol. I like 2A best.

I prefer 2A because the galley is on the right hand side (where 1F and 2F is), so crew tend to move up and down more on the right hand side.

Haha...I prefer the crew to walk a slightly longer distance to my seat.

If i get the chance to fly F which happens once in a blue moon - I'm grateful for any seat. Better than either 45K or a poke in the eye I say

Me thinks you have to brush up on your astronomy. Earth only has one, and it "ain't" blue.

Yes, all the time in fact. The last 6 flights I took were on a Malaysia Airlines 737-400 in Suites 16D, 23A, 23F and an SQ A330-300 in Suites 48A,31K and 47D. I'd have written trip reports about them except for the fact that i was enjoying myself so much wedged up between Mr T and Lou Ferrigno that I didn't feel like clambering over 2 people to get out of my suite to get the camera.
