      Ahh that would explain why the AKL-SIN return SQ286 took off around 19:10 hours (STD 15:15). Was surprised to see SQ286 at that time of th3 day when I went and picked up the Mrs earlier. Wonder what caused the initial delay...

      • this morning i saw SWL parked on the tarmac, not sure what that area is called... one of the new parking bays that sit next to the driveway going into Terminal 4 from the ECP expressway. what is wrong with that aircraft now.


        Oh ok, didnt check. it just flew to HKG without incident.

                  SQ622|02DEC (SIN-KIX) originally operated by 9V-SCG returned to gate after pushback due to an issue with the aircraft’s fuel system and the pilots had requested to return for refueling. The problem wasn’t resolved in time and an aircraft change was initiated, with 9V-SCF being the replacement aircraft.

                    SQ878 took off from SIN over 3 hours late and the return departed just under 3 hours behind schedule.

                    • SQ318|09DEC (SIN-LHR) initially operated by 9V-SWL returned to bay due to sparks in engine. 9V-SWH was the replacement aircraft and the flight eventually departed about 5 hours late.

                                9V-SWF will be operating the return leg as SQ9288 from CBR-SIN via SYD.
