      Beijing Hotels

      Afternoon all,
I have an upcoming trip to Beijing in March and was offered the following hotels:
      The Peninsula Beijing
      8 Goldfish Lane, Wangfujing

      The St. Regis, Beijing
      No. 21 Jianwai Ave.

      The Ritz-Carlton Beijing
83 Jian Guo Road Chaoyang District

      The Ritz-Carlton Beijing Financial Street
1 Jinchengfang Street East Financial Steet

Park Hyatt Beijing (Currently holding Hyatt GP Plat.)
      2 Jianguomenwai Street

I spent Saturday afternoon flipping through photos on TripAdvisor with nothing really standing out and now I'm a bit lost. Any recommendations out of the above lot? The-larger-the-better room required as my family will be present.

The world's too large a place not to go wandering.

I find the St Regis a bit out of the way, but the room size of a junior suite is reasonably large. It's OK, but I haven't felt any urge to go back and have made the Hilton Wangfujing my PEK base in subsequent trips. Haven't been in the rooms of the rest of the hotels you've listed.

If you are looking at stretching your dollar-wise, Ritz Carlton is a no brainer for now since they are running a 2 stays get 1 free night promo. You can book the room with your account on alternate nights with another family member booking the room in his name for the in-between nights to leverage on it. You just have to probably settle the bill for each night everyday

It's not on your list, but one hotel I love in PEK is The Opposite House...stayed many times and would always go back again. Nevermind not getting any FFN credits...
