Presumably the remaining 737-800s will be returned to lessors and SQ is depending on the MAX being returned to service after that, with 37 of those to eventually arrive (unless the order has been negotiated down).

Interestingly though - I believe that list completely excludes the owned ones. MGA-MGE and MGK-MGN are mostly, if not all, leased. The owned ones appear to be MGF-MGJ.

So they could have a slightly different plan B for the owned birds.

What about the plans to transfer some B737-800s to Scoot? Perhaps those are destined for Scoot?

SQ has halted those plans and instead leased A321neos for Scoot.

not sure about the plan for these tails. But the retrofit is planned for the mentioned 9 tails for now.

Are they going ahead with the plan to refit the 9 738s with the lie flat J and PTV Y seats? If so, what's the timeline for rollout?

I don't think the seats will be replaced. Just change of seat covers.

Green kebaya / tie for SilkAir CICs and Blue kebaya / tie for other SilkAir cabin crew is what I heard.

No refits happening for the first few aircraft at least, same seats just a minor refresh.

SIA should have quickly make up its mind on the cabin on its lie-flat business class seating and its new EY seating before Boeing have made its new 737 Max. This is to avoid the very costly retrofitting and grounded time required for the refurbishment of these new aircrafts after coming into service.

Then what products do the Max's in SQ colours have that is at the factory?

The new Boeing 737-800 aircraft does not have the lie-flat business class seats and they will retain the same seat products as the SilkAir 737-800s. The EY seats will also not have the PTVs and should just have the SQ seat colors.
