  • SGP - NKG (on-board 9V-SVL) `7/11/07

I was on a trip from Singapore (SGP) to Nanjing (NKG) on the 7th November, about 1 week ago, onboard SQ818.

The plane was a Boeing 777-200ER, registration no. 9V-SVL. The takeoff was splendid and the captain had an extremely fast lift off within 10 seconds of max thrust.

The landing was as impressive as the takeoff. The undercarriage managed to touch ground with minimal jerks.

    Keep it up SQ!

Hmmm this is one of the shortest trip reports I've seen. It sounds like part of a thread in the All About Singapore Airlines folder. Nevertheless, thanks for your effort, Adrenaline!

Hmm. I didn't know Nanjing NKG was a B77E destination.

Not only in SQTalk but most probably the shortest TR in all the online aviation/travel forum.

should it be SIN instead of SGP?

The shortest TR I've ever seen. And it's not surprising that SQ can use a 77E for a regional destination. They do like to do aircraft swapping at the last minute.

SQ current "smallest" aircraft is the 772 - and hence it does uses the 772 for all its China destinations

                    Actually, isn't it a Learjet 45?

I think the Learjet is for training purposes. Not to carry pax.
