You mean the entire DFS store or just the TUMI section?

Seriously? How?

That's another mark against Berkeley.

It appears so...the wording goes something like this:

We also offer Tumi Luggage at more than 30% off retail prices. For all Tumi luggage orders - simply e-mail xxxxxxx@umich.edu with the product code and description from the website and your shipping address and we will give you details on the price and have it shipped directly to you.

Shall we send you our orders? Has your E-bay store opened yet?

That would be fantastic...until Michigan finds out Savage25 has been spending $4500 a month on Tumi stuff.

Hey, a poor student is always open to suggestions that could earn him a commission

The little Tumi store next to LHR T1's BA lounge appears to have shutdown as well - it was alive and well a few weeks ago but this week, gone.

Any idea where's the best place in London to look at and, possibly, buy a Tumi ? I hear so much about them but have never bought one yet.

Yeah, noticed that last Friday morning.
I thought the best place to buy is in the US as the green is weaker.

T4 towards the Gate One Lounge, in the center, unless that has closed recently as well. You'll see the store if you head from the Gate One Lounge towards the other end of the terminal (gate numbers higher than 10).

I examine the models at Selfridges (basement level in the luggage department, past the Samsonite area and near one of the cashiers) then try to find the model I like at airports I pass through. But I've been known to succumb at Selfridges itself.

As far as I remember, the Tumi prices in Europe (UK & France) are quite high. Add the current weakness of the greenback.
However, I saw some nice Europe-exclusive products back then - such as brown Nappa leather briefcases. Don't know if they still do these.
