Default Scoot Email Blunder on 25 August 2020

I wonder how this could have happened. Not the first time an email has been sent to the wrong distribution list, but so many checks and safeguards must have been omitted for this to have happened.

I personally received emails from Scoot yesterday, referring to past trips and PNRs that I had taken, however all the email subjects and texts were about the same negative COVID-19 certification requirement for a flight to Guangzhou. Other acquaintances and SQTalkers also received such emails, so this seems to have been sent to a rather large number of unintended recipients.

Man I got 20plus emails because they sent based on 4 PNR in Dec 2018 and this were bookings for my company trip so they sent out 20plus emails - 1 for each person in the booking. Super annoying
